Application and advantages
2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)hexane is used as a vulcanizing agent for silicone rubber, polyurethane rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber and other rubbers. It can also be used as a cross-linking agent for polyethylene or hardener for unsaturated polyester.
Vulcanizing agent bis 25 does not have the disadvantages of di-tert-butyl peroxide being easily vaporized and dicumyl peroxide producing odor.
This product is an effective high-temperature vulcanizing agent for vinyl silicone rubber. The product has high tensile strength and hardness, and low tensile and compression deformation.
