Application and advantages
Magnesium oxide light can be used as a vulcanization accelerator and activator for chloroprene rubber and fluorine rubber to improve scorch properties. Neoprene vulcanized with this product has good tensile strength, elongation and hardness. This product can also neutralize small amounts of hydrogen chloride produced during the vulcanization process and during product use. However, vulcanized rubber using magnesium oxide light has poor water resistance.
In fluorine rubber, this product can be used as an acceptor of hydrogen fluoride to achieve a high degree of vulcanization of fluorine rubber. This product can also be used as vulcanization activator and inorganic accelerator for natural rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber. When used as an active agent in styrene-butadiene rubber, it can greatly reduce the early vulcanization tendency of the rubber.
This product can also be used as a reinforcing agent for heat-resistant butadiene rubber. When this product is used in tire buffer layer rubber, it can improve the resistance to multiple deformations and the bonding force with the cord layer.
This product is also a catalyst for the synthesis of polyphenylene ether, a filler for adhesives, paints and papers, and a raw material for manufacturing ceramics, enamel and refractory bricks. It is also used in medicine, dyes, glass and other industries.
