Rubber Accelerator DETU has low accelerating efficiency and poor scorch resistance, so it is rarely used in diene rubber.
However, under special circumstances, such as when vulcanized with sulfur donors such as thiuram sulfide, accelerator DETU can act as an active agent. It has unique effects on the vulcanization of chloroprene rubber, and can produce chloroprene vulcanized rubber with good properties such as tensile strength, hardness, and compression deformation.
DETU is generally used to manufacture industrial products, such as special wires, sponge products, timing belts, V-belts, molded, injection-pressed and extruded products.
