N-[3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ethylenediam is used as an additive in phenolic and epoxy molding compounds to reduce water absorption in molded composites. Therefore, the wet electrical performance of the product can be improved, especially at low frequencies.
When used as a silylated polyurethane polymer, using SPURSM technology, this silane can significantly improve the adhesion to a range of plastics.
The addition of single and two-component polysulfide sealants provides better adhesion to a variety of substrates, including glass, aluminum and steel.
The general dosage of this product is 0.5%~1.0% of the sealant mass. The product disperses well and results in cohesive cracking rather than interfacial cracking.
